The first religion of this world is the Eternal Religion , the timeless, universal truth. All other religions are branches of this Eternal Religion. It is pertinent to mention here that the Eternal Religion is known as Sanatana Dharma . Sanatana Dharma is regarded as the Eternal Religion because it embodies eternal and universal truths and principles believed to be the foundation of all spiritual paths. It is the oldest, eternal, spiritual tradition in the world, providing the essence from which numerous other religions and philosophies have emerged. Thus, the essence of all religions is often seen as the same, like branches stemming from this Eternal Religion known as Sanatana Dharma.
